DESIRE – The stepping stone to success

All major achievements or success stories begin from a spark in the mind. The ability to dream and set goals is what makes the human race supreme. We always crave for luxury, more comfort and a better lifestyle- this is what keeps the mind active.

A simple example to illustrate how desires can be fulfilled is the discovery of the automobile. The sole reason for this discovery was because someone had the desire to lead a better life- in short, luxury! Have you ever thought; why are then the majority of people struggle to meet their daily requirements; be it money or time? The answer is DESIRE. It is the factor of how much more you want out of life.

There is an outstanding success rate, in people who have believed in the concept of desire and stood up for it. Most people do confuse desire with wishing. They wish to lead a better life, have a raise in the salary, get out of debt. Merely wishing will not take you places. Your dream, however small, should be embossed into your subconscious mind. Only when your dreams are imprinted in the subconscious mind, will you take the necessary steps to achieve it.

Desire is basically the stepping stone to success. In simple words, it is a never ending craving for something which will not let us lead a peaceful existence, unless satisfied!!! Desires are as vital to human beings as water is to fish! All successful people for that sake are crazy dreamers. They went out and achieved whatever they desired.

When Henry Ford had an itch in his mind to have his name on all the cars on the street – his friends thought he was insane!! When Bill Gates dreamt of having his software on every computer – people around him thought he was out of his mind! Hence, we all should be working progressively to attain our goals. It’s not mind boggling to understand the determination and will power of the brain to achieve these desires.

If you are dissatisfied with your present circumstances, it’s simply because you aren’t doing what you dreamt of doing. There are only 2 solutions for this situation.
1. Either you can program your mind to start liking the things you are doing.
2. You can intensify your desire. You will be amazed at how the subconscious mind will find a way out.
Napoleon Hill’s six ways to turn desire to gold
1.Fix in your mind the exact amount of money you desire. It is not sufficient merely to say "I want plenty of money" Be definite as to the amount.
2.Determine what exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire. There is no such reality as something for nothing.
3.Establish a definite date when you intend to possess the money you desire
4.Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire, and begin at once. Put this plan to action
5.Write out a clear, concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition. Describe clearly the plan through which you intend to accumulate it
6.Read your written statement aloud, twice daily, once just before retiring at night, and once after arising in the morning. As you read- see and feel and believe yourselves already in possession of the money.

Its Introspection time...All you want is all you have asked for..

How many of you really believe in the law of attraction. The law that brings prosperity, wealth or love. Yes, its quite true that you can bring what you think all day long. If you think prosperity – you attract prosperity, if you think debt – you attract debt. Now if its that simple, then why don’t everyone practice this simple law and turn their life 180 degree?     The law holds good, just like a magnet, your mind attracts whatever it dreams off – but there is a condition. This is the most exciting news you are going to listen, something that can lift your spirit, something that you were searching for the last many years.    We all know our mind can be broadly divided into conscious mind, sub conscious mind and unconscious mind. Now the power of subconscious mind is 1000 times more powerful than conscious mind, same is the case with unconscious mind with subconscious. But there is a problem, there is only one language the subconscious or lower unconscious mind accepts – the language

Just Shut Up and Listen... (JSUpL)

If you are confident, get up and speak, if you don’t know the answer Just Shut Up and Listen (JSUpL). These words are not unfamiliar, but are truly unpracticed. Its almost natural for us to react to situations around but most often we forget to whether we are the right person to advice people. Whatever is your age, experience, qualification – you need to develop the habit of listening to topics that you are not aware of. You need to respect the person who is helping you learn new practices and principles. Most often our ego gets in the way and protects us to learn things from people who are not qualified, inexperienced, under aged but with knowledge. This is so true, and just like it applies to me, it applies to you as well. Let think of this situation, you are 8+ years experienced in your organization, now a fresher comes in and talks about things that are knowledgeable and intellectually correct – but your ego gets in the way, and your years of experience logically defends the freshe

The fire in us is dying...

Ever felt the fire in us is not staying as long as it is expected? Ever felt we quit digging 3 feet from gold? Ever felt the grass is green on the other side of valley? My life is full with these questions. My mind is like a pendulum that swings from one desire to another, and by making sure, I just don’t stand to achieve them. This is just the feeling that can happen to any one of you? We are all creatures that live in the past and live on memories.. We just feel our past was better than present, and we worry our future will not be as bright as our past. You seen the new add of Maruti Ritz car? just the same is true with our lives, we got choices - but we end up selecting a compromise. The patterns of thoughts that go through us are also the same, just as i was thinking - to stay in job or to build the business? to buy some land or get a new car ? To travel abroad or stay with family? go out selling or watch TV ? The truth is, even if we know what’s best for us, we refrain from
